Homemade Chicken Nuggets Recipe

I'm not a fan of fast food and I refuse to feed my kids that garbage that is in a "nugget". Whether it's from a fast food chain or the frozen ones at the store, they are all bad. The mess that is in those so called nuggets is disgusting. It is made up of chicken left overs which include most or all of the scraps for example the chicken beak, feet, bones, guts, etc. I decided to make my own nuggets. It's very simple. Below is a step by step recipe for it. Enjoy!

What you will need:
  • 1lb of boneless chicken breasts
  • Seasoning of your choice
  • Bread crumbs
  • Flour
  • 1 egg
  • Meat tenderizer

Directions:

  1. Clean and cut the chicken breasts into 1 1/2 - 2" pieces.
  2. Take the meat and pound it with the meat tenderizer.
  3.  Add chicken to a bowl and add seasoning of your choice.
  4.  Add egg and mix around to coat the chicken.
  5. In a separate bowl add a cup of bread crumbs, half a cup of flour, mix.
  6. Add chicken pieces to the bread crumb/flour mixture until all of the pieces are breaded.
  7. You can either deep fry it or bake it. If your going to bake it then put the oven to 400°F for 15-20 minutes or until done.
