DIY Detergent Pods Tub!

Hey guys! So my household goes through tubs and tubs of Iced Tea like babies go through diapers. I usually throw them out but this time I was thinking of what I could do with them. Well I hurried outside to my recycling can and took these babies out! I had a plan and I wanted to get started on them asap!

Things you'll need:
  • Empty Iced Tea tubs
  • Chalkboard Paint
  • Chalk (which I have but cannot find so it's not pictured)
  • Detergent pods
Below is a picture tutorial of what I did so you guys can follow what I did even though it was fairly easily to make,

1. I peeled off the label and left it bare. The paint will look much better on this surface than with the label still on it.

This is the chalkboard paint I used. I found this at Target Dollar Spot for $3.00!

2. Next thing you want to do it paint it. paint 2 layers on the tubs and the lids.

3. Allow to dry for about 30 minutes

4. Grab your detergent pods bags. I have a variety as you can see.

5. Pour those pods in the tubs!

6. Write with chalk on the tubs!  Hope you guys enjoy! Don't forget to show me your work! Tag me on Instagram or upload to my Facebook Page!
