Recipe of The Day: Loaded Mashed Potatoes

On Friday night I wanted to make steak and loaded mashed potatoes! I do not have the picture of the steak however I did snap a photo of the loaded mashed potatoes. I wanted to share my recipe with all of you. My kids absolutely love to eat this!

Things you'll need:

5lb bag of Russet Potatoes
Potato Masher
Hellmann's Mayonnaise
Salt
Pepper
Bacon
Milk
Mild Cheddar Shredded Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
Gravy (optional)

Directions:
  1. You want to peel the 6 potatoes and boil them with a little oil in the water.
  2. Next you want to prepare the bacon. I bake the bacon in the oven and you can use with the entire pack of bacon of half. I use half.
  3. When the bacon is ready, pat excess grease off with a paper towel and then cut up in pieces and set aside.
  4. Once the potatoes are done, you'll want to mash them with the potato masher.
  5. Pour 1/2 cup of milk and keep mashing
  6. Add bacon
  7. Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix
  8. Add 1/4 a cup of shredded mild cheddar shredded cheese and 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and mix.
  9. Salt to taste and sprinkle with pepper.
  10. Pour Gravy on top if you choose to.
