Awesome Mother's Day Gifts Under $20!

If you are a frugal shopper like myself (of course you are because why would you be reading this right?) you are thinking of what to get your loved ones for Mother's day. I am making my list and have created a budget for my husband and my kiddos-- $20. Yes you read that right, $20! Sometimes we don't want a diamond tennis bracelet, or some expensive diamond earrings. We would like something meaningful or cute and cheap.

Do you know someone that loves to throw wine and cheese parties? This cheese marble slicer is awesome from !

This cheese slicer can be found at The World Market. You can find a few other items that are affordable. This was one of my favorite items. They can used regularly so you know this gift won't go to waste.

Two-step monogram mug

Who doesn't love a fast and simple DIY? You can find cheap plain mugs at Dollar Tree for a buck! You'll need a Pebeo Porcelain Painter pen which you can find at Walmart for $8.39. Once you draw a nice monogram on it, bake it for 30 minutes in the oven. And you have yourself a Monogram Coffee mug!

Hand-Written Card
This is very simple and very easy to make. You can grab a few sheets at AC Moore for a few cents a piece. My kids and I always make cards for birthdays and other holidays. It makes it more personal.

Framed Photo
Nothing says 'I Love You' like a framed photo. Looking for a frame is not hard but it isn't easy. Kohl's is the best place. You can find some great wood frames at some great prices. I've found some for a few bucks. Print a great picture that they'd love and cherish and frame that baby in there!

A Clean House
Who doesn't want to wake up to a clean house? I would love to wake up to the laundry being sorted and washed, the house being cleaned and organized. This is a task the kids and the husband can do together. Teamwork!

Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
You can find Driscoll's strawberries at the supermarket for around $6.99. Grab a bag of Nestle semi-sweet chocolate morsels which are usually priced at $2.99, melt them and drizzle over the strawberries or if you'd like, dip them completely in chocolate.

Scented Candle
Buy your mom a nice scented candle from Yankee Candle. The small jar candles are priced at $10.99. Blue Summer Sky is my favorite scent (just in case my husband is reading lol).
