I'm a little upset with this department store at the moment for opening up at 6 pm on thanksgiving day. They announces yesterday morning that they will open at 6pm on Thanksgiving Day and run through 1pm on Black Friday, while supplies last.
“This year, customers will find the hottest holiday gift items and great savings with the convenience of one-stop shopping for everyone on their holiday list,” said Jeff Kantor, chief stores officer at Macy’s. “In addition to incredible savings and doorbuster deals on Black Friday at Macy’s, customers will have a chance to win up to $1 million in gift codes and prizes throughout the weekend.”
It seems as if they really want to win this Grey Thursday/Black Friday war. Because, Macy’s is also running a cash giveaway where customers shopping in-store with Macy’s mobile app could win up to $1 million in Macy’s gift codes and prizes such as shopping sprees, home makeovers, and travel.
